Messaging Terms

SMS / Text Messaging Terms

Last updated: August 29, 2026

1. Program Description

P&P Insurance Agency operates an SMS/text messaging program to communicate with current and prospective customers about insurance quotes, policy information, appointment reminders, account updates, and related customer service matters.

By providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent box on any of our forms, you consent to receive automated and manual text messages from P&P Insurance Agency at the phone number you provide.

2. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. You may receive messages when you request a quote, during the quoting process, when your policy is up for renewal, or when we need to communicate important account information. On average, expect no more than a few messages per month, though frequency may be higher during active quoting or policy servicing.

3. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. P&P Insurance Agency does not charge you for receiving text messages; however, your wireless carrier may charge standard messaging or data rates depending on your plan. Please contact your carrier if you have questions about your plan.

4. Opt-In / Consent

You consent to receive SMS messages when you:

  • Provide your mobile phone number on our quote request form and check the SMS consent box
  • Provide your mobile phone number on our contact form and check the SMS consent box
  • Provide your mobile phone number on our homepage quick-quote form and check the SMS consent box

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may receive a quote or contact us without consenting to SMS messages.

5. Opt-Out

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by texting STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, you will receive a confirmation message, and we will no longer send you SMS messages.

To opt back in, you may submit a new form with the SMS consent box checked or contact us directly.

6. Help & Support

For help with SMS messages, text HELP to any message you receive from us, or contact us directly:

7. Supported Carriers

SMS delivery is supported by most major U.S. wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and Cricket Wireless. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy & Data Handling

Your mobile phone number and SMS consent status are stored securely in our database and used only for the purposes described in this policy. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. For complete details, please review our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

9. Changes to SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued participation in our SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
